Today was my indoctrination into towing a whole new vehicle. The good thing was that I had several other campers assisting me with the process.
I was able to successfully get the vehicle into 'neutral-tow' mode. I successfully got the brake assist to work. The turning signals and brake lights worked as expected.
The one thing I needed help with is to remember to shut the ignition off after all test were completed.
So we drove the 100+ miles without incident to get to the new campground in Naples, FL.
This KOA campground is fantastic! We picked it not for its amenities (of which is has many). We picked it because of its close proximity to the venue for the U.S. Open Pickleball tournament.
Tomorrow is our first day to watch the play. We have tickets to sit on a covered area of the outdoor tournament so we will be shielded from any rain or sunshine.
Looking forward to it. The drive was fun and our next 4 days in Naples should be as well.
