Trump has now announced that the US will block the Strait of Hormuz. A somewhat pathetic attempt to appear stronger than they are, because Iran is already blocking the Strait and the US will now at most stop the few ships that can get through. A somewhat untenable situation that they need to abandon quickly. This is diplomacy at a kindergarten level.
